When people know that

The utmost of their strength

Will be insufficient to attain

Their lovely cherished aim,

They follow it up with wilful deceit

Practised by all ways.

When a government

Daily exhibit much hypocrisy,

How can officials above

And common folks below

Not be hypocritical?

It is insufficiency of inner strength

That produces hypocrisy;

And insufficiency of knowledge

That produces deception;

And insufficiency of means

That produces robbery. . .

But in this case against whom

Ought the robbery and theft

To be charged? . . And this

Is the key question indeed

In terms of total hypocrisy.
