So true. Many customs are barbaric and counter to better life. Without individuals standing up and pointing out when so-called "common good" really is bad, life will never change for the better.
By this poem you have declared what I firmly believe: heaven is a construct of this life. All the heaven we will ever get is right here on this beautiful earth and it's here for our enjoyment. I'm afraid that waiting for it after we are dead is one of the biggest hoaxes ever placed on humankind.
Restrictions of custom is not always for the common good while what comes from heaven is always in accordance with conscience. As above, not so below. John
