As Shakespeare's PUCK, was apt to say: "WHAT FOOLS THESE MORTALS BE!" OH... The Pic... NEVER EVER PISS YOUR LADY OFF! Some 'Martians' TOYS are EXPENSIVE!

PUBLIC STORAGE ? © - Tom Hyland - 12/26/12 For the longest time I wanted to write about this Phenomenon - However, more frequent ‘Senior Moments’ made me Forget. Last night, on Christmas evening, As we exited the Baltimore Beltway onto Route 40 East - There it was, in Big Bold Bright ORANGE Letters - High up on a Large Building ... PUBLIC STORAGE Generally speaking, some people accumulate more JUNK ... Than they can physically store in their ... Homes, Attics, Basements, Sheds, and Garages ... SO... they PAY upwards of $75-100 ... Each & Every Month to STORE IT! This adds up to $900 to $1,200 per Year! Some of these ‘Rocket Scientists’ continue this practice for YEARS! WHY ? Is this not ‘Throwing Good Money after Bad’? Wouldn’t it be much Wiser to have a ‘Yard Sale? Obviously, they Don’t NEED it! Nor do they USE it! Then, Why KEEP it? Can I get a Big DUH? Oh, yeah, some places are called ‘Self-Storage’ ... If Any of my Readers are Offended by this Questioning ... I Do Sincerely Apologize ... But ... You Must Admit ... Such people are Not ... “BRAIN-TRUSTS” ! © - TKH.

Living in a mobile home, Tom, I know you will understand this, but I have always thought that if something is NOT used in 6 months, then throw it away...so little storage in my camper that it is not worth keeping then...e

Obviously, they Don’t NEED it!
Nor do they USE it!
Then, Why KEEP it?

I've always wondered the same. And you should start watching 'Storage Wars' one o these goofy reality TV shows in which people bid on public storage units that people abandon and stop paying rent on. Some of these folks actually find some stuff that is worth a lot of money.

PS: We recently found a dog that some a..hole also abandoned at a storage unit. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I feel we are pack-rats to the past, out of fear we might need something the moment e discard it. It is a fact in my world. I do it just to tempt fate. Phenomena recorded. Made millions, so what fools we mortals be indeed. Sometimes they find the bodies too!
