last night I won my 12th match out of 16 played this session. That's a 75% success ratio.
since starting 14 years ago, on the same team, with the same Friends, this was the very first, and only time that I shot every week, for 16 consecutive weeks of any session.
This is rare for anyone on any team.
Anyway, I am quite proud of this opportunity, and this achievement. I would like to sincerely Thank Rob, our Team Captain, and my Coach, as well as, Norman, both substitute Coach, and practice partner. Also, all my fellow team members: Connie, Karyl, Mike, and Kenny.
We shoot on Tuesday nights, in a Travel League, which means we rotate each week to various Bars, of the teams for that evening.
Our team name is Tequila Shooters. we started out, all those years ago, at Shooters Sports Bar in Severna Park, now owned by Scotty Marx, a Great Friend now.
through the years, we moved to different Home bars, for various reasons. Tuggies, has been our Home base now for several years. the tables are always kept in great shape by our Host, Debbie.
Last night, we were tied for First Place with J.J.'s Bar, Owner, Joyce, and their team Captain, Bubby. Although we won 4 out of 5 matches last night, They won all 5 of their matches, securing 1st place slot.
On Saturday, February 6th, at Noon, we will compete in a Play-Off with another team.
Time will tell if we win any $ ... We'll see!
