I try to ignore the emptiness I feel inside Truth is, apart of me died When I so selfishly walked away I honestly thought I’d be okay But my days run short, my nights long I pray to You to keep me strong To help guide me in the right direction To keep me close under Your Protection I need you more now than ever before To open your arms for me once more And receive me in your heart again To heal my hurts and my pain
