Velvet Desire As days go by, consumed in flames Curiosity wishes to dissolve again Like does a lonely sugar cube In tasting salty ocean waves Enticing purple kaleidoscope Dream world�s mirrors sparkle Oblivious of emotion�s gloom Droplet of life just for a while Sinister clouds, my ignorance Loom above the path I walk alone Through innocent and sleepy minefields Until a sudden lightning strikes Gentle passion � a vivid romance Emerald wings in fleeting suspense Sublime wishes draped on cobblestone Are aging flesh in perfumed velvet �2004 by Franz L Kessler �Photo by Studio Matahari Lutong
