On behalf of my friend Ana, thank you, everybody, so very much, for your warm welcome and wonderful words of appreciation concerning her work, and, translating her own expression – “Hugs spilling from gratitude like a garden fountain to you all!”

As for the following poem, I dedicate it to what inspired such ponderings yesterday, on the first day of spring – to the divine within all human beings… and to the very human within all of the divine; may we all recognize and embrace both within us, past all muddled meanings.
Lots of Love,
Alexandra*

Soliloquy of the goddess with the woman within

What is it, of me, that you fear in you?
Is it this boldness of naked skin, perchance
of core within, holding none of the pulp throbbing
to be split open – as it is, of lust, of love, of flesh
and blood like a seasoned, sacred fountain offered
to likened thirsts, to hungers equated, about the
ground, the grove, in ripened shades of other trees?

- Is it, then, this taste of nature true , of which
so many starve themselves, and deem the fruit
of sin ?

What is it, of you, that you hail in me?
Is it the virgin blush, the muted light, the pristine
- oh, so beguiling – veil of mystery, the reverent
kiss replicating the promised, hinted after-taste
of prayers answered upon answering lips, the
wholeness so whole, so holy, it cannot be but
if time of being, corporeal, is due and yet duly
delayed – to be consummated in otherworldly
worlds of all eternity?

- Is it, then, this perfect vision of what is never
truly seen, this flawless splendor of the never
truly touched, this lonely shrine of sublimity?

And what is it, of you, that you deny in me?
Is it the dreaded curse of blessed seeds cast
deeper and deeper into nothing but a wound
- a hollow, barren of all but scorn, a wasteland
dubbed hell, where growers of self-piety, but
not of genuine growth, proclaim a divine womb
should be?

- Is it, then, that, oh, so very mortal, possible
impossibility?

So, what is it, of me, that you assume in you?
Is it, then, this holy soil that blossoms redemption
in carnal wreaths of vernal equinox, about to ignite
dances of solstice in the sun and advents of matching
gods under harvest moons, is it the spark transcendent
that, from even dead ashes, engenders the epiphany
of that unfathomable essence which thaws all frozen
layers around the sense of form?

- Is it, then… immortality?

Now tell me, and sing with me, and cry, and laugh
- while you listen to the fading echoes of what it is
that you have allowed other voices to tell you
– you should loathe, in you, of me, in me, of you.

And hear me laugh, hear me cry, as I sing with you
and tell you, while I listen within, to the expanding
echoes of what it is that I will seek to learn, thus
understand, thus love, more and more
- in me, of you, in you, of me.

At last, let us be silent –
as we touch this ultimate note in the scale
of a primal harmony that begins again where
it has ever been, if we truly care, dare, to heed

- This perception that needs no words, for
its intrinsic beauty, its reverberations
breathe, whole:

In me, the goddess in you -
in you, the woman in me.

Now, go and be, and love, wholly and truly
- and with you, and with me, all men within
all gods, all gods within all men.

- Be at peace.

the depth and clarity of thoughts designed to purge your spiritual being from its intellectual echoes, result in a masterful work capturing all my attention ... great poem, Alexandria ...

This is the most beautiful meditation and conversation, Alexandra, echoing words and sentiments that I seem to have with "myself" every single day of my life, somehow. And I love the harmony and balance of mind and spirit that you bring through it and to it in conclusion. As others have said, your degree of understanding and knowingness about every fibre of the human being and activity of mind at a conscious and subconscious level is astounding. And your gift at being able to articulate and put such complexities into words totally staggering. Your words are pure Art and communicate through every sense to all the facets of the mind and heart. This is to be treasured. TY and bless you, Kate xx

This life and all that it offers is truly a marvel indeed. Alexandra, you are a literary force to be reckoned with. Your insights into our humanistic and spiritual essences never cease to amaze me.

I wonder ... do you ever war in the spirit?

Your intellectualizations, and insightfulness here are soothing, and also profoundly enlightening. May the blessings of all that is good abound in your life dear Alexandra, and may your gardens never cease producing. I salute you in respect and admiration!

Light and Wisdom ...

Dear Xuxa,

Sometimes, the best of an Artist is revealed through persistence and determination. Such is the case with this poem. I know how you wrestled with your thoughts in order to create this piece. I'm so happy that you chose not to abandon it ... perhaps it was persuing you. I embrace, with you, the divinity of all Creation. This is another literary masterpiece.

With great admiration,
Teu Joseph

I agree with Ed. Very captivating. Sensitive expression from all sides of the "intentional stance." Love and many warm {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}},

Multifaceted view from inside the psyche, from the primal deeps of the wound and from the seed hoping to reach not a barren and empty place.
"...matching gods under harvest moons..." an inebriating imaginery with psychedelic colors and languid forms that capture our senses and distort our own questions.
The poem comes to the reades like waves on the beach.

The primal harmony that begins all life again, in Spring.

Quite a captivating piece, Alexandra!

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
