Coldness without you when
hot were the memories as
thrilling as our summer picnic
kissing hearts on a calico
blanket many a blessed day
Summer skies then turned
gray and summer's warmth
faded away the season from
summer's heat to winter's snow
beginning to freeze to the bone
Then your sweet calling beckoned
me in the house and the designing
snow continued falling rejoicing..
our bed providing us another kind
of blanket
