to show me Love and
a gentle spirit
spoken so softly

I believe in Angles Love
I know that I have met one
He holds my heart so gently
with in the palm of his hand
I know that it is safe there
for never would he hurt
He nurtures it each and ever day
in whispered words of love
He carry's it with him
safe for all time
My wonderful angel
this wonderful man
For him goes all my love
He gently nourishes my soul
takes all the pain away
his love wraps around me
enfolding me with his understanding
He listened to all my fears
and puts them all to rest
as I laid my heart
upon his
I knew that all was safe
So yes, I do believe in Angels,
For how could I not?
I carry one each and every day
he's always just a thought away!
And when I am old
And my breaths have slowed
When I knock upon heavens door
I know my Angle will
carry me there
and wait just over the hill
He'll join me someday
and we'll be swept away
Stars to light our way
Songs of Love
We'll sing too
As we are joined
forever and a day
