("open mine ears; that i might hear,
open my eyes; that I might see,
open my heart; that I might receive")
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

Poem Artwork

My ears are listening and my mind is full.

The man that chooses not to listen

sure can be made a fool.

I'm glad that along my life's pathway

that I am blessed with

such beauty and insight

written in the words of others

written in stone

carved in wood

or penned on paper

I read it all from where I stood

It uplifted and blessed me

my ears were opened

eyes saw so clear

Lest I miss one word

and be left misunderstood

So if I pen a line

and it reaches out

 to some place deep within

Don't give me trumped up praises

for I am just the canvas

the Master is the true artist

it just worked out

Just as it should

Wonderful write. True you are the instrument but, if you did-not say YES to your gift and calling to write, we would not be enjoying this POEM today. Thanks for saying yes to your calling. Love, Betty
