Very powerful write, Jerry! I'm sure this speaks to some who have had paved their own ways in life and are quick to identify themselves in your poem. It is never too late for those to learn this lesson in life and identify their own mistakes. You give the most powerful life's lesson!
Well said. I've always held, "we create our own reality" and thus no one is responsible for getting one out of a stuckedness but the one who created the situation that led to the stuckedness. Thus, little, if at all, victimization to wallow in. You've offered, in my judgement, another version of my own thinking. Kudos!
