We knew a girl who was so blue.
Why was she sad we never knew.
We wondered but we had no clue.
Some said she was sad for a man,

Whispers about a girl, Diane,
Who left her and moved to Japan,
We never knew if it were true .

She never smiled and would not laugh,
Walked around like a half-sick calf,
And had a neck like a giraffe
It always looked a bit askew.

One day she up and went away,

She left a note and signed it Mae,
Said it was time for her to stray,
Searching for llama's in Peru.

Being blue is certainly not a good way. At least she made the effort to go find her happy place. Lovely write Jerry.

Let's hope she finds llama in Peru or maybe hook up with Little Boy Blue!! Good one! (Now, we all know that the picture is that of Kelly Osborne, right?)

Love ya!

A girl's got to do what a girl's got to do! She must find her own place of happiness.

Quite a write,
I must say,
She's oh so blue,
Come what Mae.

This goes back some to 2006. Love the rhyming and its effect in this one. No doubt, there are many people like "blue Mae".
