not knowing when
the door will open
I open every door
~Emily Dickenson~

Poem Artwork

Daylight is fading
Memories tucked a way
Inside my treasure chest
Beside my heart they'll Lay
I may not always see you
Or hold your hand in mine
Not knowing when the dawn will come
If your love I'll find,

~*~

I worry and I wonder
What the day will bring
Sunshine and flowers
A song that I can sing
Time is short and I as one
Feel the pain has just begun
Touch my heart, take it away,

~*~

With out you my world is empty
I would beg and plead
to make you understand
you are the one I need
you bring light to my darkest hour
your smiling eyes, your laughter has the power
you are the air I breathe
you are the world to me,

~*~
I am so blind and cannot see
You will lead me on to tomorrow
Remove all this sorrow
I open the door, you are there
Sun is shining,
Light is everywhere
My life and heart belong to you
This dawn has brought joy
Wonderful and new.
~~*~~
