a metaphor of the present times...what do you see?

After he was hit...blood trickled down his chin from his lip ...sending the crowd into a frenzy The ripe plump fugi...surrounded by a large selection of other various fruits in the bowl on the table ...was the center of attention She deeply inhaled...holding the freshly clipped american beauty to her nose ...the scent of which took her so far away that the thorn embedding itself into her finger...was never felt copyright; AsaDSeeley/2009

This is quite an extended metaphor. Imagine Fergerson as a bowl of ripe fruit waiting for the picking.. The last four lines expresses the lack of emotion felt as some lay dying and others feel no pain.

The coalescing of varied sensations and emotions conveyed by your word choices lifts this above the ordinate, making even less desirable the mundane and pedestrian trite that often fills posting space. Thank you.

I think I am seeing a spectrum of opposites. It doesn't strike me as particularly violent. I see emotion, followed by visualisation, then power of pleasure over-riding pain.
