Sought Out

Do you know to whom you belong

Who paid the price to right all wrongs

ô

Do you know the Spirit by who you’re called

The one who picks you up and restores you from each fall

ô

Do you know The Spirit who Sought you out

Who drew you to Himself with Love causing your turn about

ô

He has opened our eyes to what was once disguised

Calling us out of darkness in to the marvelous light

ô

Yes we who were once far off- have now been brought nigh

By the blood of the lamb the son of the Most-High

ô

But that is not where it ends for us  it is where it begins

For we have been given all power from He who dwells within

Made to reign in this world—given total dominion

ô

Yes, God sought us out -- He, with might reconciling us to Himself

We do all things through Christ- we need help from no one else.

ô

For the Bible tells us that in this World we are just like Christ

His word is, sure, truth and sovereign and for me it will suffice

ô

Don’t believe the error of what this world calls religion

You have the mind of Christ and are able to discern that Spirit of division

ô

Behold Him! for He has made us as flawless as He

Though we have infirmities in this flesh –Our Spirit reigns completely free!

ô

In Him we are made new, at liberty– and given great abundance

No man can judge us- we are made free from all encumbrance

Arise Beloved and look to the Rock from wince you were hewn

You have been given sovereign authority and from this world’s judgment you’re immune

ô

We are just like Him I say that boldly and without shame

I heal the sick, cast out demons – raise the dead all by the power of His Name

ô

We walk in authority through Christ by our Hidden man

We are seated in heavenly places, Right now we are with Him on the Right hand

ô

My Lord! Jesus!  Jesus!  Jesus!  I’ll say it again!

For there is no other name –that has the power to forgive sin!

ô

The things we shall do in this world as God’s offspring have yet to be seen

Psalms 82:1 says God judges among the gods – so what do you think that means?

ô

The Kingdom of God is at Hand—it is an injustice to our calling to wait

We are the bride of Christ, we have become one and it is time to Consummate

ô

Father we know we didn’t find you --for it was us who were found

You paid our debt in full, we who were once hell bound

ô

Us without you - - that thought – to me is ridiculous

I am awed by your love - - that you’d rather die than to live without us!

ô

Thank you Lord that you Loved us so much – you sent your son to bring us out

Thank you that we were never alone – you were with us throughout

ô

You loving and patiently waited for us to hear your knocking and turn about

You made available the keys to the Kingdom --by Your might we were brought out!

ô

As we with faith began to turn –yet, before we could open our mouth

You ran to us being that Joyful Spirit saying “Beloved here’s the way out.”

ô

So we thank your Father, Bless you for we know without a doubt

That we didn’t turn to you in our power- but by your Love we were Sought out!
