Care Be Gone!

Poem Artwork

Morning beach oh so relaxing
Take away my cares and woes
Take the thoughts which are so taxing
Waves take them with outward flows

Wrote a care upon some driftwood
Threw it far as I could throw
Let the water soon erase it
As this care I did let go

Came home feeling so much better
Care be thrown and washed away
No more to this care be fettered
Free to face a brand new day

You're brilliant in getting rid of cares and woes.
And the ocean is big enough to throw in all your cares

The beach does that for most "cares & woes", be it ocean or lake or any water with a beach...e

Let us hope that that care, written on that piece of drift wood, does not wash up on some distant shore, where, upon reading it, the poor finder catches the malady so expressed.…
