Poem Artwork

An angel came to me last night
Surrounded by such heav'nly light
She did not speak she merely smiled
A comfort like no other

One minute the spot where she stood
Just a bare floor made out of wood
Seemed to glow for a moment more
Where this angel did hover

I held no fear nor did I dread
Her coming back beside my bed
I felt so safe and calm instead
Not one bit did I shudder

For sure as long as I exist
I'll ne'er forget that blessed tryst
As on my pillow rest my head
Curled up beneath my cover

When you see white light, it is Angel. That's what I told my friend at work too.

One of my friends that I know through work can see things that we can't. Sometimes he would see dark shadows, but sometimes he would see bright lights. I told him that the bright lights are angels that come to watch over him.

One day I fainted and before I came too, I remember being in a place so restful and full of peace that I did not want to leave it.

I liked the rhyming scheme very much. I liked the tone and the excellent wording. I liked it.
