This is a true story. It happened to my daughter, Casey, whom my mother adored.
She sat in her dining room all alone
The kids were at school for the day
'Twas thinking of Grama she missed her so much
Folks die it just happens that way
The doors were all shut and the windows were closed
She felt Grama was there with her
Tabu drifting with a breeze that blew her hair
Cologne Grama would wear each day
Not frightened at all in fact feeling at ease
She smiled as she sat in her chair
Recalling how Grama could make all things right
She still does. Believe if you dare.

I believe it!! Whenever my mom and my dad visit me, they would move the angels or the happy buddha that I have in front of their photos. to face another direction. That is how I know they have been visiting me. They would always give me signs that they have been here. Also...once we (my whole family) went to visit my brother, and we were all sitting and chatting, then all of a sudden I could smell my mom's scent. My mom always has a special scent with her that I'm familiar with just know it's her. Before I could even announced that she was there with us, my daughter beat me to it. All of a sudden my daughter just said to us all, "Grandma is here!" So....obviously, my mom was so happy that we have all gotten together on that day, and she wanted to join in the fun too. I felt her presence so strongly on that day.
These beautiful recollections either real or dreamed, especially the sense of smell, which stays with us forever, to be triggered by that trace of lost perfume. Tresures of memory. Sadly I have never had such an experience where I've felt their spirit had returned. I sometimes wish I would. There are those I would wish to experience one more time. I enjoyed this Jane. Bob
