The picture is a picture of my shawl drying. I just washed it.

Poem Artwork

The shawl that hangs over the post of my bed
My shoulders keeps warm my neck and my head
I take it to cover my hips at the beach
Over my skirts my shawl's always in reach

My shawl has swirls lovely  gold, teal, and rose
Lightly perfumed not to offend the nose
Of course I use naught but Chanel number five
My shawl's kaleidoscope swirls seem alive

It takes me to other worlds and other times
Makes me think of words and oft many rhymes
I sure love that shawl for it is quite a friend
And with that said this poem comes to an end

A rhyming delight! It makes me sense the flower girl in you. The kaleidoscope colors and the patterns so vibrant and new.

Even if you used Corral No.5 I would find your scent adorable on the beach!

It's nice how an inanimate object can inspire a poet! I love to have something warm to wrap around me.

JANE.... WELL DONE !

After zooming in the colors & patterns remind me of Incan or Mexican designs.

Memories within that shawl
Are so unique they stand tall
Your shawl is always your core
Opening all those doors
