"........things that go bump in the night."...... Stephen King

Poem Artwork

The sun was just beginning to set
Still deep in the woods was I
Ill missing the path I was lost and alone
A dark cloud had covered the sky

But what I saw bewildered my eyes
A door a white door indeed
A door just a door nothing holding it up
My curious mind needed feed

At first I thought it was Halloween
Ghosts, goblins, bats, witch, and such
The jack-o-lanterns No! were laughing at me
A zombie was using a crutch

I had to get fast out of this place
For scarier sights I saw
The door the white door I was seeking to find
Appeared as I stood there in awe

I reached to open and did just iin time
For The Headless Horseman was near
The woods were all dark but I felt safer still
The white door was "gone" so was fear

Fear Is Only Fear In Itself!

Door In Life Will Never Open It Unless
You Open It,i.e. I Made It Further
In Life By Looking (Seeing) Behind It
Door Before I (You) Open (Leap) It!
