The picture I used was one I took at the beach last winter of what I named, "The Ice Queen".
On winter's day walked to the beach
Designs of snow and sand so Zen
Ice caves made by the frozen waves
Silence so loud there all alone
I'd stepped into the Twilight Zone
Ice Queen had beckoned me to stay
Standing so proud formed solid ice
Her voice so crackly I had heard
Was she a friend or was she foe
Standing against the ice and snow
The sun was setting in the West
A storm was blowng from the North
I knew that it was time to leave
For I was not prepared to stay
From Ice Queen's side I strode away
Was it the wind that blew in screams
Or was the ice on Lake cracking
It seemed the Ice Queen turned to watch
As I made my way up the hill
Heard I her crack'ling voice so shrill
While lying in my bed that night
I watched the blizzard blowing hard
Echoes of Ice Queen's crack'ling voice
Visions of ice caves sand and snow
This had to be a dream and so
Made my way to the beach next day
The caves were there still was Ice Queen
A bit misplaced as if been moved
Was it a dream or had she been
The vision at my window seen
She just envied ur good looks as she was, from the picture, dirty and ugly, so she tried to lure you closer to grab you and change herself into you...Happy Turkey Day...-e-
