Some of those are pretty hard to get out of. It's good if you have someone around to wake you up. You probably will be vocalizing what's going on and if they wake you up the dream will stop this vicious cycle. And, fortunately or unfortunately, you will remember more of it.
Some dreams are too real. Night-before-last, I had a dream that a microwave oven blew up on me. The scariest, though, are when you dream that you are 'dreaming;' then you have... a dream within a dream. -- Jeff Mason
Strange I had a very, very weird dream last night also. Someone had set the alarm to my clock and it went off in the middle of the night. The only thing was I was unable to get out of bed to turn it off. Also, I knew who the guy was that had turned on the alarm, I knew him, but I was unable to really see him. It was like he was looming and was about sinister things. Even as I write this my heart is pounding.
If it were real, u'd still be experiencing it but in some dreams I find I would rather keep experiencing it & if I awaken in the middle of it, I try to go back to it by getting back to sleep...seldom do I dream of that particular dream ever again...liked this one Jane, as it has just the right amount of "the rhyme" in it and it all comes together quite well...I am off to Rene's in Delaware today, finally something to do with my time for a change...Peace m'lady, -e-

I could hear myself scream.
I was glad to wake up,
at least it wasn't a wet dream.
