My husband and I like to sit at the beach on New Year's Eve and watch the last sunset of the year. Your poem reminds me of that moment of anticipation, awaiting what will happen once the sun reaches the horizon and sinks below. That spark always brings us joy! Thank you!
INDEED! THINGS GET BETTER...ONE DAY AT A TIME, LITTLE BY LITTLE. AND YOU DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHEN IT HAPPENS, BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU FIND...VEILS ARE LIFTED! SUCH A GREAT INSPIRATIONAL WORK, MY FRIEND. THANKS! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
I sense a new enlightenment in your life bursting forth in this poem. Congratulations.
That last line recalled a phrase that has long puzzled me, "Far from the Madding Crowd." To me, "stumbling," would mean a bunch of fools or worse, drunks. On the other hand, I don't have a ghost of an idea what "madding" means. ;-)

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Inspirational poetry, written from the heart and soul. Verses that are well-suited for reading on a rainy day and that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
Thank you for sharing it.
Continued success
