If anyone read any of my poems about the lady in red and Satan who dwelled in the 5,000 square miles of what is called the Mentor Marsh, you'll get it.
She was there
In the air
Over the fog
Floating
Wearing red
Hill people
Heard she died
To keep him still
Satan
Became dead
As she sank
In the murk
She killed Satan
She died
So they said
But....
She was there
In the air
Marsh Goddess keeps
Sure that
Satan deep sleeps
You don't have to be up in Mentor Marsh to run into that girl. I see are quite often just before my head hits the flat screen of my iMac and I wake up. She's right up in there in the mist looking a lot like you just before my reverie is interrupted by that whack in the head.
The Marsh Goddess is on top of the Marsh and is hovering to ensure that the evil Satan will remain in the dead state forever. She does not trust this evil creature, for he has great powers, but not as great as the Marsh Goddess. As long as she can be within Satan’s burial site she can keep him where she wants him. Dead. Very much dead. Love the photo.
