Well done, Jane; you have effectively shared the experience of "the sea" through your verses here. Your poem reminds me of one that I have posted here at AD (and which you may well have read already). It is titled, "Near the Sea I Breathe." Ahhh . . . But the wet, crash, boom put the zest inside you, and now you can understand and feel the same sensation you felt before even though you have removed yourself from being too close. Superb writing!
