The holidays are coming up I'll pour the wine into your cup Beneath a feather down The fireplace glowing The cracklin' wood the shadows dance Dreamin' of that one perfect chance Your eyes and mine Forever to be knowing Scent of pine boughs Lips so lovely Shh! Let's stop. Pause. Look it's snowing Jane Noponen Perinacci

It's only September,
don't you know.
So bite your tongue,
for thoughts of snow.

Last years winter stayed to long,
it was cold into June.
I'll take the romantic outlook,
but you're thinking winter to soon.

This could be a song with a little tweaking. Christmas songs sell. According to my ex, it would be hot mulled cider rather than wine that would make hearts and minds entwine.
