Thanksgiving brings so many things
That I'm so thankful for
My eyes, my nose, my mouth, the skies
So many many more

The childrens' smiles traversing miles
Bring love into the home
A cookie steal run with a squeal
Outside to munch alone

The table set and you can bet
Stuffing and squash abound
Turkey is done now for the fun
Pass mashed potatoes 'round

Thanks for the friends who to the end
Stood by our sides so true
For soldiers bold worth more than gold
We give our thanks to you.
