Poem Artwork

No words will come to me
Feeling oppressed you see
Going about my day
Words seem to fly away

Monotone melody
Play it on middle C
No rhythm no repeats
Feel how hard my heart beats

Soon pen in hand I flee
Writing in privacy
Oppression stands no chance
Closed door within my trance

Feeling oppressed today?
Fear not you gorgeous thing...
it will soon go away.
Soon you will be on a new fling.

What estate to be in on this lover's day! I hope you get many Valentines from those many bows you have to cheer you up and allow you to write your greatest lyric ever tomorrow.

Today may you luxuriate in the flowers, chocolate, and rhymes that your loved ones bestow on you for being just to you are!

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG, JANE, IT REALLY IS ALRIGHT. WORDS WON'T FLOW ALL THE TIME BECAUSE...THE 'GIFT' USES YOU. YOU DON'T USE THE GIFT. YOU ARE ONLY THE INSTRUMENT...WAIT FOR THE OWNER, WHO PLACED THE GIFT IN YOU, TO 'USE' YOU. DON'T KNOW HOW OFTEN I'VE SAID THIS BUT THERE I'VE SAID IT AGAIN. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

When I'm feeling used and beat down,
And I can't write a thing,
I head for the stereo,
And play some B B King.

Words you write are precious to we the receivers, and to you, dear poet, because you are you.
