Memories of paper boats.

Floating in a pond of lilies Saw I little paper boat Moving slightly with some ripples Lilting lightly it did float Soft breeze with puffed cheeks a blowing Sending little nautical To ponds edge stuck in some cattails Suddenly I heard a call Little boy ran to the cattails Reached down picked up pride and joy Gave salute to "crew" then ran off Holding onto fav'rite toy Jane Noponen Perinacci

Funny, but when I picture a little guy saluting and holding his favorite toy, I see a slightly different picture. Maybe that's just me. Love your sentiment.
