As I look out on yellow and purple pansies, I get the same feeling. Springtime is the garden of nature. We all need to get out in it and get a little dirt on our hands.

You would be surprised to learn that there are many people who don't even notice the daffodils or listen to (and hear) the birds on the wing, much less pack them into a poem with as much verve and charm as this one. Move over, let's make that garden bench complete . . . ! John
