One vacation there is not enough. Although this second trip to Maine is in my imagination right now, maybe someday!!!
Getting on a train
Goin' back to Maine
Rocky shores and lobster traps
Call me
Blueberries at night
Then a scary sight
Black bear love those berries too
Trust me
Lots of room to hide
Inland from the tide
Little cabin in the woods
Fir trees

Main must be always beautiful but I can't stand snow
I've shovel too many sidewalks and driveways in my life
Kind of develope a dislike for snow other the on the Christmas holidays
Enjoyed your write .... Love & peace be with you
Never been to Maine (lies mainly in the plain?), but your experience was nearly parallel to mine in the Quietico international boundary waters of Canada that I visited twice--plenty blueberries, very rocky pristine terrain, and black bears both times. The only difference was the seashore and and seafood. Only freshwater fish in those digs.
SOUNDS GREAT! THE IMAGERY IS WONDERFUL AND I DO HOPE YOU'LL BE ABLE TO VISIT AGAIN. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Jane, don't forget to have a 'lobster roll' or two for lunch. Man, I miss those things when I vacationed there years ago, can't find 'em here in the south. Eat one for me, ha!!

R & R is direly needed these hectic days.
Years ago, my nephew Jim had a little trailer on Chincoteaque Island Va.
I used to enjoy a solid week of peace & quiet
There in the pines. Wrote a lot of stuff about nature, on paper, in longhand.
Then, back in the city, typed it all into the ole puter, then posted.
R & R is Good! 😎😜
Oh, for that little cabin in the woods, in our dreams I guess. My niece and her husband have a cabin in the woods, no electricity, in New Hampshire, and they go there on weekend, summer and winter. She posts many pictures on her Facebook page. It really seems like heaven, experiencing nature like that, deep in the woods, on a regular basis. John
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Pack it in Jane. You can drive it in a day. All aboard!

To a journey back to the beautiful Maine would
be a piece of heaven! Been! Have a jar filled with
the black sand and ocean water from 1989!
