This vegetable poem has a lot of meat to it!! I have been out all morning looking at plants for my back deck, mostly to make for privacy to the beach tourists that rent the condo next door, but heck, maybe I'll just put some dang tomatoe plants out there, might as well get something to eat from them, ha! NOthing like a juicy ripe tomatoe off the vine with salt on it. Making myself hungry. its your fault, LOL!

I wish that was a picture of my vegetable garden but, due to an issue beyond my control, I did not plant one this year. I'll make up for it next year. This photo is from an image I found in "early vegetable gardens". Thank you all for your comments!!
Looks like a great start and a poem to boot! That is one of the neatest gardens that I've seen. Nary a weed in sight! That's a good sign of a obsessive-compulsive gardener with two green thumbs and dirty brown toes.
You are part and parcel of the soil, Jane. Growing a vegetable garden, tending to your flowers, the Marsh and the beach . . . You are an all-around woman of the earth.
