Through Windows of My Dreams

As I stand facing the emerging day

Stripped of all negative thought

I am awe-stricken by the surrounding beauty

Indescribable colors paint the sky

As I wonder at its reflection

Cast into a single drop of dew

Nestled in a perfect budding rose

All seems to go unnoticed by a Praying Mantis

Breakfasting upon a stem; this perfect eco-system

I breathe in the coolness of the morning air

And the rustiness of sleep slowly fades from me

As my ears become alive with the sounds of chirping birds

And the pulsating songs of Cicadas and Crickets

I am reminded of the dreams that led me to this place

While I traveled the galaxies through the night

I met a woman of incredible vision

She taught me about the Dream Windows

And showed me how I could enter

Or leave the dream whenever I wished

She reminded me that I am limited only by my beliefs,

And that my imagination is my true st reality

While I stand watching the sunrise

I hear a song upon the wind, beckon me

I feel the rush of galactic travel upon my skin

Awake I soar through the Window

Circling back I see the rose in the garden

And I realize that “The Woman” is I

And the “Window” the portal to my soul
