Best advice I can offer Jane, is to keep yourself hydrated, (water only,) stay indoors as much as possible...Jane your poetry has improved considerably.

I have been hearing endless comments about the heat. What heat, I tell people. You don't know what heat is like until you experience the heat of Doha, day after day for six months of 120 degree temperatures. So I say, heat? What heat?

You captured a seasonal rant for Northerners without air-conditioning. While I don't think I could survive sleeping at night in the way my house is arranged without AC, somehow I find the hot days here wonderful as long as I don't stay out in them too long.

Some like it hot; some like it not.

We awoke to the pleasing sound of a hard rain this morning. For the longest time we have had afternoon thunderstorms to keep the heat from scorching us. Please keep it up.
