OF COURSE YOU KNOW I LOOKED IT UP BECAUSE I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED AS A SIGHTSEEING SPOT IN RI...BUT CAREFULLY-WATCHING ONE'S FOOTING(RE-PAIR IS UNDER WAY)AND NOT WITH YOUNG KIDS. NICE SCENE THOUGH...NEWPORT ON THE SEA. THANKS FOR SHARING. Nice area up that way, was only there once but found it just as relaxing as I do my own hometown of Sea Isle City, at least in the winter months as the summer that place is a madhouse...-e-

You sure can pack mansions into a thimble of a poem. What a dish served up, "lovers walking nightly" and all.

Both romantic and nostalgic. I can almost taste the seafood banquet on the lawn and the smell of dead fish cast up on the rocks below being eaten by seagulls.
