I'D LIKE TO THINK IN ANOTHER TOWN HIS LIFE WAS TURNED AROUND AND HIS FEET WAS SET ON SOLID GROUND...NO MORE A BED IN A BOX TO BE FOUND. I'D LIKE TO THINK THIS BECAUSE WHEN WE SEE THINGS LIKE THIS IT DOES MAKE ONE ...THINK. THANKS FOR THE REMINDER, JANE, SOME THINGS WE AUGHT NOT TO FORGET. We had one such person who came to our town. He recieved all kinds of help, including, giving him a place to live for free. Several months later he back on the street. They had to evict him because he wasn't taking care of his apartment. A sad case.
I saw three of the kind of people you spoke of as Zoe and I took our morning walk. Two were toting bags of stuff they had found in people's garbage cans. One was riding her bike, stopping at garbage cans also. Yes, they are out there.

In this cruel world. Some people have it tough. Touching poem. Old Woolen sock indeed. John
