After brain surgery, I'm thankful I'm here and able to help others.

Thanksgiving is a time to me Of gratitude that I can see That I can touch or smell a rose That I have legs that end with toes A voice I have that says, "Thank you" Two arms have I to hug you too Hearing my family's voices blend While giving thanks for what You send So cook the bird the stuffing fix Potatoes real not from a mix Give thanks sharing with those in need Let kindness grow let's plant the seed Jane Noponen Perinacci

What a wonderful mix of love, cooking and thankfulness. Just read it to my turkey chef.

In this case, you certainly can't say, "It's not brain surgery."
