Twig snaps darkness hides Were those two glowing eyes Sun down dark woods Shadows wearing hoods Something just grabbed my arm Run run branch don't do harm Fingers reaching Something strange screeching Soon see lights ahead Surely I'd soon be dead Flashlights find me They'll never believe Acting brave and calm Start to whistle a song Someone shows blood On my back were Fingernail scratches Gonna need some patches Say I itched there Cannot act scared Someone might find out.
