Poor witch flies on forever but can never land. I wonder who put the curse on her, don't you?

Poem Artwork

She hates to see the fairies
Dancing and singing songs
Broomstick she rides forever
She knows not right from wrong

Yes she's the evil witch hear
Her cackle as she flies
While far below the fairies
Are baking fluffy pies

Delightful, apt, and timely... ...I love witches... ...and fairies, nymphs, angels, goddesses. Thank you for sharing, Jane. Love and best wishes,

This one could turn into a children's story. Easy to visualize what the drawings would look like.

Fluffy pies conjured up why my mother topped her pies with sticky, not fluffy, meringue. It didn't seem to add to the pie's taste or appeal, but that topping may have helped insulate and keep the five from getting too hot or cold and spoil.

Enjoyed this one, especially the image of the witch who couldn't land. Now, that's a new one for me. Great.

Who cursed the witch,
to forever fly?
I'll ponder that question,
as I eat fluffy pie.

wicked witch of the west has another sister in evil
I see. Long live the fluffy pies - at least until
they're eaten by the fairies.

If she can't stop flying, she can zoom down and grab the fairies fluffy pies and have a meal on the fly...:) -e-
