Walks, leaves, mulled cider, apples, doughnuts....................

Blue waters now are cold steel grey
Nor'eastern blowing cold our way
Leaves ornamental sway and fall
This is my fav'rite time of all

This time of year can fool your eyes
Those leaves a blowing are so wise
For Mother Nature knows true love
Sight swirling red leaves up above

Perhaps that's how they came to know
A love born seizing long ago
Whitecaps on angry crashing waves
Somehow I "feel" them all encased

Throughout all this stress and strife
I feel I am reaching the autumn of my life
Yes, it's going to happen to us after one Fall
Then we will see the Face of God after all.
