It Moved

My son's encouragement brought this poem about.

Poem Artwork

It moved the shack had kept it well
Green black the corner eyes from hell
Cocoon covered with roof caved in
It looked about with fangs of sin

Shape shifting thing it moved about
Whatever my thoughts it would shout
Taking the form a humanoid
A shadow filling up the void

Some say they saw an entity
A shadow butterfly said he
Dispersing into glitter cloud
It moved so sly so proud

Damn, keep that shack away from me. Spooky piece of wordsmithing that paints a pictorial ready to keep its stake on a small piece of ground. Fun read.

To me, the title of the poem is Shadow Butterfly, this image says it all in this eerie interlude.
