I love the beach during winter. The silence is so loud!

Poem Artwork

Zen patterns drawn by the wind at the beach with snow and sand. THE WIND IS ALWAYS BLOWING SO THE PATTERNS ARE ALWAYS CHANGING This reminds me of life always happening and changing our "patterns".

I hope it isn't changing our minds. For the information we receive is like those patterns on the beach. Ever-changing. We should be careful not to be blown hither and yon like the sands on the beach or the grains of snow or rain turned to ice.

No beach where I come from, but I have often marveled at the snowscaped fields sculptured by the wind, and sometimes, rain turned to ice.

Nothing changes the terrain like wind and rain and a runaway train. Not so much along the beach, but somewhere...

Love the title and the concept. You are on to something here. There is something weirdly unique about a winter beach that we can learn from.

Love this one andalthough I do not live by a body of water, can relate to this poem concerning the bitch . . .er . . . beach.

I can relate to this. There's a creek near us, and I like to walk along its banks after a good storm, just to see the changes in the way the water flows through the landscape. It always changes where the water goes.
