We all celebrate Halloween differently. It means I'm free.

Why do you celebrate Halloween? Is it because of collecting candy from house to house stufFING your pumpkin bag or bucket? What treats did you get? Let's see... Kit Kat Mars Bars Twix M&Ms oh..a damn Smartie! Or do you celebrate to be seen? Prancing around in your costume so you get praises from neigbors who presume your hard work of time and creativity to become who you want to be on a day we all can be free to roam around town with a mask or a painted face? And say "Boo!" Do we celebrate because of the fancy party we get invited to? Perhaps, a safe place where we can enjoy pleasures of drinking devouring dancing or even co-mingling? I celebrate Halloween so I can be me so I can be free to be truly happy on this one day each year when I am of top of the world being The Queen of Halloween.

Nice, very enjoyable. Makes me reflect my own reasons to enjoy the spooky holiday. I think for me it's all about the happy, excited kids and the creative decorations.

I sense that many feel the same way you do about a day when they can be anything they want and indulge in all the candy they can possibly gather and eat. A time to throw off serious endeavor for a little fun.
