This is a lyric contemplation of the Cosmos and its Creator.

Poem Artwork

The moon and the stars spin like fairies,

On their endless cosmic dance.

Who but the naïve would ever believe,

That it all began by chance?

How could Nature, all on her own,

Have written such fine poetry?

What could be worse than a pure universe,

Independent of theology?

To see a design implies a designer,

Logic begs us to cry.

The cosmos was built like the squares of a quilt,

On the cosmic loom in the sky.

The finger of God traced out the stars,

Perhaps on some Holy whim.

That begs us to vex, if God is complex,

Then who created Him?

An interesting viewpoint not shared by Christians who believe that God created the earth and the universe about six thousand years ago. Theology is the science of the study of religion. Astronomy and astrophysics are the sciences study the universe, astounded frequently by new discoveries changing what was thought to be the old design into entirely new one. I accept the universe the way it is, eagerly hoping to find out more about it.

Who Says Women Can't Lead? by JAMES RONDINONE

We have been told from the pulpit that only men have been called to the leadership positions of the church. Uncovered truths and new translations have changed this perspective.
