The world says fight

i do 


My fangs and claws

are my paintbrushes

my writing and sculpting

my opera and ballet librettos


The damion of creativity

has me 

not me it


And my art always contains

two tears for

the joy and sorrow of living life


I love and give birth 

through my art

and when my paintbrushes 

are dry

when i have no more words to write

when all my songs are gone


When i have shared my art

with everyone on earth

and the planets beyond


I will become 

something new

something brighter

and bolder

a larger an higher spirited

lifeforce then

ever before


Im reaching for

my brightest stars

as never before

and these distant stars

brilliant rainbowed hued rays

are reaching for me


My claws and fangs 

are my art

my love is

my art
