Great story! Rarely does one have the pleasure of reading a poem that
weaves a spell with a few perfectly-chosen words. The images
stand out with stark simplicity, and it is hard to feel guilty about
being glad that such&so needed killin' got 'is comeuppance. B r a v a !!

"Poison Wine"

Well written, with a interesting plot.
An easy read, coinciding with a unexpected twist
of fate. That ought to do it, smile!

Goodness me! This must be the piece de resistance of come-uppance and own-back-gettin, Linda! The "victim" here must have previously inflicted some sort of dire emotional wounding in order to have engendered such a love/hate ambivalence in the perpetress... this is so well-written and had me hanging on the end of every line. Now I just want to grab his lapels and shout "Wake up!"... but maybe the real toast is to the fact that he doesn't! If this toast is to personal liberation from the release of some evil tyranny, then Cheers! LOL Kate xx

What did the poor chap do to you, Linda? Or are you a sexy hitwoman? Lol! Absolutely interesting! Here I was waiting for the curtains to go down with a bang - and did they go down with a bang alright. Only another kind of bang ... lol.

interesting poem ... first your fill him with passion then put him to sleep so he cannot act on that passsion ... not fair ... but i can see you enjoyed, so some good became of it ;) next time skip the wine ...

A good glass of wine chilled just right does wonders for you. A nice write here. And this reminds me of the lady in Green Bay, Virginia who had a knack of getting rid of the nonpaying customers and generally bad ass men. Not too many people wanted to piss her off either.
