Poem Artwork

The perfect light is blinding me
What peace has come to set me free?
Eyes shut but lighted in my soul
Please let my candle never go

The wick that starts at heavens gate
Continues to my souls heart place
The flames so strong for my sweet Lord
Lets me see into ones darkened doors

Awake inside while the body rests
Takes me upon the oceans crest
Barefoot and alone I walk to thee
This light someday will set me free

Art is a gift, poetry is a consequence of suffering. Illustrated poetry is soulful moan

Think I am glad I missed the movie Ted saw. Loved this poem. It touched me. The picture is awsome. The sky is so full of perfect pictures with it shadows and streaks of light.

Ever since that movie, where the little woman says," Don't go into the light" I still hesitate when entering a well lite room.

Magnificient in art and content. The freedom you seek is a commonality in man. You rate so high that I am worried about you suddenly ascending straight to Heaven and leaving me by myself. Wonderful Terri.
