Two lovers trapped for all time inside a painting.

Turret hearts pass in the night Reaching out to the others life Aching pain filled with delight Longs till dark to touch each night Dreams and visions in your sleep No one else will ever see The scent of perfume lingers there Mixed with passions not to share Love that will just never cease To much chaos that would be Hearts would tear from all the strain Bitter love would still remain. Just to touch for seconds they Wait with longing through the day Passing in this darkened void To please the pains they can't avoid Night after night they stay the same From this they just can not restrain Turret lovers in the night This will happen through out their lives. Down the winding stairs they walk There to mingle after dark Through out the day they feel the pain To live in this painting they will remain. �

Ach well... guess in that way they can forever live in the moment of that most exquisite sublime - something some can never experience, for one reason or another... usually another! :)) Better to have loved and lost and all that...
