How simple the brief moment of one of Nature's most curious and to many, frightening creature signals. Yet, with your sensibilities of textual choices, the sensory reminder of sound at its most adamant moment is one to listen carefully to, for within it most likely is a thesaurus of meanings that only an echoing howl of the entity can communicate. Another journey into thoughts and appreciations we so often take for granted.
This is very succinct and yet effectively powerful in the expression of emotion that makes the reader (me) think and relate. I completely agree with your theme, Diana, some things should never be kept stifled but must be released. Love, peace, and blessings to you,
You reminded me. It was only once. One evening when I was upstairs in my study with my little buddy Pomeranian, Jazz. He suddenly perked up from his usual sleepy mood, raised his head back and howled! I didn't hear it, but he must've heard something outside, maybe the howl of another dog, that brought back that ancient memory of his wolf ancestor.
I never heard him howl again. But he was very good at yipping with his sharp little bark and nipping within sharp little teeth… Until suddenly, he would calm down and want to be petted.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
