This painting was done with some kind of story behind it, but I never wrote the story, so I wrote these lyrics instead.
Last of the ladies
With bracelets and braveries
Last of the many men
Who go down too.
Talk is much better heard
Without all too many words
Just the good ones
The best ones
The honest ones in you.
How do we fix this mess,
Deep painful brokenness,
How do we start to start over?
With bracelets and braveries
For men, women and babies
All the goodness in a smile
For who looks like a stranger.
This fabric so sorely ripped
Needs mended by fingertips
By
Peace bracelets and braveries
And you.
For men, women and babies
All the goodness in a smile
For who looks like a stranger," the "smile... stranger" idea is the healing poultice that is felt by the heart and mind, enabling intellect and emotion to breathe freely again, regardless of how short the period of joy's gesture may be. To be broken is to feel like a stranger to peace and love. You've made that so knowingly apparent. Thank you for bringing such a critical behavior to the forefront of healing... especially those of us that have experienced it.

I believe you might be writing about peace bracelets and war, but otherwise, I can't fathom what you're theme is for this song. I know it's not nonsense, but for me it makes no sense.

to hear the song sung, maybe you can sing it ?
